Is it called Square Sausage or Lorne Sausage?? At MacDonald & Son, its just called Lorne!! We make our Lorne using beef sourced in the Scottish Highlands. A slice of Scottish Lorne Sausage is an essential part of the traditional Scottish Breakfast. It is very similar to a traditional steak sausage in terms of texture and content just without the natural sausage casing.

To cook, simply brown each side lightly in a frying pan checking that it is cooked all the way through.
